UPDATE: Yahoo Maps is up.
I’ll be profiling a very interesting new product on TechCrunch tonight at 9 pm PST. It’s under embargo until then. It’s a flash app, and I’d say the guys at Macromedia are going to be really happy with this one.
I’m really pleased to see companies, even the big ones, starting to include blogs in their normal PR process. I think we’ll see more and more of this, as the lines between blogging and journalism are blurred to the point where its all the same thing.
I’ve got to say, though, that seeing myself with a “media” pass (like this one yesterday) makes me chuckle. Don’t they know I’m just a dude, with a computer?

You realize 9PM PT is midnight over here…. don’t you??
Better put up another pot of coffee….
David, Just move here. It’s where all the cool people hang out.
hi Michael,
“Don’t they know I’m just a dude, with a computer?”
So what exactly do you think I am – or anyone in the media??
You’d be surprised how many people in the media don’t have formal journalist training.
Keep up the good work,
Cheers,

“I’m just a dude, with a computer?”
So, a MSM journalist is just a dude with a pencil and notebook
You’re a lawyer dude with a computer. That’s a mashup!
