Mike, I am very skeptical about advertising thru RSS => Ars Technia has started using it - I think i am going to unsubscribe. I have having difficulty reading the contect on my reader (using bloglines). Its all about content.

I feel people will realise that - writing a long article - makes the reader come to your website. And then over there you can have ads - very relevant ones. Which can give you money.

But using ads in podacast - is pretty good. As the listener - has to listen to it! esp if your content is really good! As anyway - if the podcast content is not good - people stop subscribing :-)
