I personally like the clean and simple look and feel of your Crunchnotes logo. Perhaps add some color to “crunch” in Techcrunch to fit with your Crunchnotes logo.

This appears too busy for my taste. It also looks like letters taken from other logos. For example the Honda logo is way too obvious. I guess web 2.0 is all about mashups and a web of different pieces so if that is what you are trying to get I got it. However, I find it very hard to read and very hard to recognize.

Hope this is helpful and the type of feedback you are looking for! By the way, congratulations on your continued success with Techcrunch! I just read your update on how your blog is developing and that is definitely a very impressive performance.

LOL.. Mike thinks you were serious

I was worried there for a second also.

My initial reaction was to akin to staring into the sun, but then I sat with it and decided it’s pretty snazzy. Colorful, fun, creative, I like it. If you dig it and are ready for a change I say hoist the boy up. I can see not wanting to add something new that your readers would hate, but in the end it’s your blog, your rules, which is easy for me to say cause I get a lonely fraction of the hits you do.

I actually kind of like it.

I do feel that the kerning could be a tad better. But besides that. Man, you’ve got yourself a logo! Haha

Hey Mike, yeah, I was just kidding. Click on the picture and make your own!

Mike if you are going to MASHUP your logo, why not use Char’s from Web 2.0 companies… That Honda H has no place in your insightful tech blog…

The more I think about it the more appropriate it is- TechCrunch is literally built on these new companies… My vote to use the Riya “R” .. maybe the Technorati “T” ? anyway should be fun..

Interesting idea. If anyone wants to take a shot at putting this together with photoshop, I’ll put it up on TechCrunch for a few days with a link.

caveat: it has to be good.
