I’ll be writing about Dogster sometime soon on TechCrunch. In the meantime I’ve put up a page for Laguna (more pictures on Flickr). Throw her a bone!

If you are a dogster/catster user, ping me with any interesting stories that I can add to the TechCrunch post.

  • Dogster has been around at least a year and a half — not really the latest web 2.0. news. However, it is a great site. The only story I have about it is that one lady “corralled” my dog since it kinda looks like hers. When I looked at all her “corralled” dogs I saw hundreds of small, white fluffy dogs. She must have spent hours corralling them (http://www.dogster.com/friends_page.php?c=857&i=42873&n=Ty).

Here’s my dog Macho in all his internet glory. Macho

  • Chris, Thanks for commenting. I met the founder, Ted Rheingold, at the Slide party in San Francisco a few weeks ago and heard the story of dogster – amazing. I agree there are some additional features that could make the site more “web 2.0ish”, but it is a profitable company with a ton of passionate users. Macho looks like quite the ferocious little guy.

  • Ted Rheingold is one of the great genuine people in the world, and may Dogster and Catster bring him continued happiness. I love that guy.

  • Hallow a see your dog in the internet. So a love your dog and a whant of you to care the and love him.Spanish Hola llo mire tu perro en el internet.Y me justo tu perro y llo quiero que tu cuides el perro y lo ames ok. So that is old.

  • I’m new to dogster, but I love it! Macho does look pretty macho. Check out Geoffrey Bodine next time you’re strolling with dogster.

  • I love dogster and catster! I have my dogs Cinco,Dahlila,Max and Blacky on dogster and my cat on catster! I love hanging out on their forums!
