I’ll be writing about Dogster sometime soon on TechCrunch. In the meantime I’ve put up a page for Laguna (more pictures on Flickr). Throw her a bone!
If you are a dogster/catster user, ping me with any interesting stories that I can add to the TechCrunch post.

Dogster has been around at least a year and a half — not really the latest web 2.0. news. However, it is a great site. The only story I have about it is that one lady “corralled” my dog since it kinda looks like hers. When I looked at all her “corralled” dogs I saw hundreds of small, white fluffy dogs. She must have spent hours corralling them (http://www.dogster.com/friends_page.php?c=857&i=42873&n=Ty).
Here’s my dog Macho in all his internet glory. Macho
Chris, Thanks for commenting. I met the founder, Ted Rheingold, at the Slide party in San Francisco a few weeks ago and heard the story of dogster – amazing. I agree there are some additional features that could make the site more “web 2.0ish”, but it is a profitable company with a ton of passionate users. Macho looks like quite the ferocious little guy.
Ted Rheingold is one of the great genuine people in the world, and may Dogster and Catster bring him continued happiness. I love that guy.
