I actually do agree with Jack on the location issue. I would rather see the event to happen in Prague or Paris than in London. Why? I do like London but the English tech scene has always been very oriented to the United States, where as the continental European tech scene is more a thing of its own. Don’t get me wrong, I will come to London if it is London, but I would be delighted to have (let’s say) TechCrunch (10) on the mainland.

How about Prague? It’d be a lot cheaper, so you might not need sponsors (a 0.5 liter beer costs less than $1). But I’d come to London as well if that’s where it’ll be.
