Frank Gruber’s latest post on TechCrunch is a feature-by-feature comparison of the online mapping services (Live.com Local, Yahoo Maps, Google Maps, etc.). Representatives from a couple of the companies have already weighed in with suggested additions and corrections. Check it out, and let us know what other services you’d like to see compared.

  • Your comparison/review posts are a big help. Thank you!

How about comparing/reviewing hosting providers from the perspective of a new venture looking to find the best hosting value. The review would compare the hosting providers’ features, costs, and performance metrics as the new venture scales from 0 bandwidth/storage needs through different milestones (i.e. 100 GIG, 1 TB, 3TB, 5TB, 10TB, etc.)? CHEERS!

  • I like the hosting comparison idea – something we will look into, thanks David

  • Hi,

You may want to post a short note that Google maps made a major upgrade .. addeing road maps to most of europe … including the ability to get directions.

Thus — for Europeans — they are now miles ahead of yahoo (more rivers than roads in france) and MSN.

    Regards
