Bill Thompson at BBC calls TechCrunch “delightfully upbeat” and also writes a pretty damned good article on some of the companies I’ve written about.
Also I will be in London from May 18-23 and look forward to meeting everyone in person that I’ve gotten to know online. I’ll keep my schedule updated here on events, dinners, pub crawls, etc.

Dang. You’re coming to Britain just as I’m going to the States.
Michael
I really enjoy what you have to say, and you’re definitely the best source of information about what’s happening in the area. Hope we can meet up when you’re over here!

Geez, “delightfully upbeat”. Sounds like he’s calling you a soft touch.
There’s lots to be upbeat about…
Wow thats cool, you have mentioned coming over before but didn’t make it last time (Carson’s web2.0 summit event).
I look forward to it, what is your schedule, doing a geek diner? want to look at some UK made web 2.0 product, I would love to share what we are working on.
regards
Al
Hi Mike
I’m hoping when you are over you might have some time to visit us in London. I am part of the group of people who organise Second Chance Tuesday, Mashup, Geek Dinners, Geek “Girl” Dinners, Content 2.0 etc. We have decided to get together and form a site called Unplugged London which we will launch in June at Content 2.0
We plan to create a TechCrunch blog focused on UK startups and wanted to involve you or get your thoughts. We are meeting on 19th May in central London at the Scottish Malt Whiskey Society club and would love you to come along if interested.
