Tom Raftery reports that China is blocking Technorati. I agree with Tom, the search engines need to group together to figure out a “China strategy”, and take into account China’s human rights violations in their quest for profits.

I dont understand whats wrong in allowing a site like technorati.

I think they dont understand the functionality of technorati

  2. China is really getting out of hand. What really really ticked me off was Yahoo! handing in that guy to the Chinese government just because he had a questionable email in his drafts folder. It’s made me step back have another look at this behemoth of a company.

usa gov and corps want trade/money from china nothing else, china’s policies haven’t changed and yet people are treating them as if they have entered the free world.

the only strategy that search engine businesses will figure out is how to make money with the restrictions inplace.
