That was the biggest “insiders only” public post I have ever seen. It makes the whole situation seem like a joke. If he had added in a few more references to web 2.0 technologies it would have been a perfect April Fools joke post. Sometimes people take themselves way too seriously…
I don’t think you’re meant to understand it, Mike. Just nod and murmur. Don’t raise your voice towards him though, Steve might have a weak heart like Dave Winer so you wouldn’t want to startle him.
