I don’t understand most of what Steve Gillmor is saying in his most recent post, but I get the feeling that it’s important. Things have changed, and even those of us who are in the middle of all this change don’t know exactly what’s happening. And we certainly don’t know what’s next.   • That was the biggest “insiders only” public post I have ever seen. It makes the whole situation seem like a joke. If he had added in a few more references to web 2.0 technologies it would have been a perfect April Fools joke post. Sometimes people take themselves way too seriously…

  • I don’t think you’re meant to understand it, Mike. Just nod and murmur. Don’t raise your voice towards him though, Steve might have a weak heart like Dave Winer so you wouldn’t want to startle him.
