As for the whole Hendrix feedback / 'Root Worm' analogy I'm as clueless as you - you'd have to ask the brothers Goldstein. Is that worth $0.50 at least, or am I disqualified due to insider knowledge? What did I say? Well, it seemed Doc and Steve thought they were pretty funny. I didn't think it was that funny myself. The two jokes that hit my funny bone were other people's jokes, one from Johnny Carson, and I honestly don't remember who the other joke was from but it had something to do with grown men acting like children with credit cards.
