Recovering From the Next Web Conference
by Mike on July 10, 2006

I attended the Next Web conference in Amsterdam last Friday and spoke about hot startups (with a focus on European companies). It was a great conference and I look forward to attending again next year (even though I’m not on their list of desired speakers. :-) )

Ronnie Overgoor was there filming everyone, asking for their definition of the Next Web. I’m first on the video and, if you make it to the end, I have a short snippet there as well where they ask my name. My answer? Kevin Rose, founder of Digg, of course (we all have to have our heroes).

Don’t feel bad Mike, I didn’t make the list of desired speakers either - ha ha! :-D

Michael, it was great to have you over and to listen to your keynote!
Of course your invited next year (for the dinner, the keynote, the afterparty, the after after party etc.).
Marissa Meyer is high on my list of desired speakers, but you Michael, you are a must speak (without you, no Next Web Conference :) )

Michael,

Not only one of the greatest speakers ever met, but also an appearance on my cam… incredible! ;)
Next year I’d like to have you, with two or three other web 2.0 guru’s in my own online talkshow on pitchtalk.tv. Deal?
