I do not agree with Nicholas Carr, but I ask myself why the discourses in the Blogosphere are so harsh.

For the record, I would miss Nick if he were to sit down and shut up. You guys desperately need a foil, even if you don’t appreciate it.
You don’t find the idea of someone who supposedly stands for open conversation telling someone else to “shut up and sit down” more than a little hypocritical?
Nick is a smart critic of the whole “blogosphere” hype. Like all critics, sometimes he’s right, sometimes he’s wrong. In this case, I actually think his point is fundamentally correct, but ignores a few interesting counter points.
