TechCrunch No. 5 on Technorati
by Mike on December 17, 2006

For the first time that I know of, TechCrunch hit moved into the no. 5 spot on the Technorati top blog list. Of English language blogs, only Engadget, BoingBoing and Gizmodo are larger. It is also no. 2 on the most favorited list.

This list changes around a bit every day, so it may be different tomorrow. And that’s ok, ’cause I got a a screenshot. :-)

Congrats to the CrunchGear team as well - they broke into the top 1,000 a month or so ago, and are just about in the top 500 (#515 today).

Good job Mike! You deserve it.

Great news about crunchgear as well.

Congratulations to you all :-)

You should close down your country sites and piss off top bloggers more often. Well done. You had a shockingly bad week, behaved like a bully, and now you congratulate yourself.

Let’s look at some of the stories that got you the high position:

For the record you’re also in the top 10 in our internal metrics in Tailrank.
