I am moderating a panel tonight on people search at Google headquarters in Mountain View. This is an open event with a small fee to attend, more details here.

Participating on the Panel:

Michael Tanne – CEO Wink

Jaideep Singh – CEO Spock

Bryan Burdick – COO ZoomInfo

This should be fun. Good emerging vertical search area.

  • I hope you take the time to mention companies who aren’t headquartered in California.

  • ZoomInfo is located on the East Coast… though it is difficult to get non CA or West Coast companies to participate in these things… Maybe I’ll think of a way to do that using that Internet thing…

  • Overrated vertical. Sure, demand is there from searchers. But people who want to be found can easily be so w/ LinkedIn, blogs, etc. Those who don’t want to be found (women w/ restraining orders on their husbands, etc.) will give these businesses a black eye some day soon.

  • Could you perhaps post or point to some of the findings and discussion points from this event? For those of us on the east coast making it to this event was a little difficult:) Thanks for pointing it out though.

  • I would of loved to of been at the event. Oh well, theres always next time right.

An update on things would be great.
