Nik Cubrilovic May Be Pretty Smart, For An Aussie
by Mike on May 17, 2007

Some obscure Australian site has listed Omnidrive’s Nik Cubrilovic (a regular TechCrunch contributor) as a finalist in their Smart 100 White Male List. What I don’t get is that there are only ten finalists. How are they supposed to get to 100 smart people? Ridiculous.

Congrats Nik ;-)

Are you calling The Bulletin obscure? It may be Australian - but it’s probably the biggest magazine for current affairs in the country.

And also, it’s a top 10 for the I.T category

Oh wait, it was sarcastic, wasn’t it

If only we could understand what ben barren was saying, he’d probably be on that list.

The “White Male” I assume was your added commentary Mike?

Didn’t see that on the article and I would hate to think that an immigrant dependent country like Australia would still “think” in those terms.

The Bulletin actually predates the Murdochs in Australian Publishing history and was the magazine that launched Banjo Patterson and Henry Lawsons…thought I might add that :-)

Mind you, their site is hosted on NineMSN which as far as I’m concerned loses it a pile of credibility ;-)

Wow–looks like a Web 2.0 Conference Lineup in the Making. They need Hammer.

Well done Nik…

There are 10 categories, each with 10 people.

Congrats Nik - you’re special now. :)

And what’s with nominating Scott from Atlassian and not MCB? Something smells there - Mike letting his team mate take some cred?
