Nicely Done
by Mike on June 3, 2007

Whatever company this is, they should use this as one of their primary recruiting tools. Well done. As soon as you get to about 0:53, you know it’s going to be good.

  • Wow. Who cares what color the people are? The video was pretty cool, and I’m in my 40′s. If I enjoyed this and would want to work there, some of you younger guys should envy these people.

  • No, it’s NOT that good, its mediocre.

  • Totally agree with everyone who is saying the first lassie is gorgeous!!! Would love to see more of her! The video is amazing. Seen it like 20 times! LOL!

The parody one is pathetic though….

  • I’m sadly too old to work there, but I would definitely want to. The fact that they’re ‘not good at it’ is lame. It’s not their job but they’re enjoying life. Would that anyone would find a way to have at least some fun in their daily life.
I’ll rue the day that I can no longer appreciate the fact that some people want to just celebrate life by doing something, not actually all that easy to co-ordinate, together that brings joy to the world. Bless your heart, boys and girls, and have as much fun in your life as possible.
And yes, the girl that starts the song -is- of a sufficient level of pulchritude that consesual sexual activity would be very welcome indeed. But I wouldn’t try and ‘come on’ to her and I wouldn’t be a jerk about the fact that I’m obviously never going to be that lucky.
Because I love life too and my idea of joy is not to rob others of their enjoyment of life.

    Great song by the way.

  • u guys r pritty cool that must of taken a lot of effort!!:)

  • looks good, sounds good, IS GOOD U TWAT’S

  • I guess all the minorities at this company were sick that day…?

  • I can’t believe how many racists are on this thread!

  • Paul / Netherlands - June 9th, 2007 at 7:11 am UTC

these guys do have a lot of fun, that’s for sure.

  • I love my job but… who wouldn’t want to work there? No one said any thing about there not being an Asians. There aren’t any Asians. Oh and yes, the first girl is very hot she’s the reason I clicked on the video in the first place. They know what they were doing; which is why they put the um… “talent” first.

  • You guys do realize that complaining that their are only whites is racist towards whites, right?

  • Nope. Complaining that there are only whites and that all white are slackers and white collar criminals is racist against whites. Complaining that a group isn’t inclusive is just pointing out that a group is possibly discriminatory is pointing out a *potential* problem that ought to be looked into.

  • so thats where all my Fing dot.com money went? figures!

  • I’m white, but wouldn’t want to work in a place where everyone looked the same. It’s ridiculous, especially in a city like NYC. It is absolutely not racist to ask that companies do not limit their hiring not only to one race but ONE CLASS… upper middle. You people that think these posts are racist are thinking on an emotional reaction rather than accepting a VERY DISTURBING TRUTH in our society. You’re sticking your head in the sand, covering your ears, and singing “la la la”.

  • Cost to company, $567,000. Fun making video, priceless.

  • There must be a height requirement there too. All the dudes are the same height, more or less. NO TALLS OR SHORTIES ALLOWED! They all seem to be extraordinarily self conscious fashion wise. It must be like a major pretentious cool competition in there every day. Not likely that it runs as beautifully as they’d have you believe in that hip dream scenario above.

  • Are race and sex all you people can see? That’s an office full of kids! Doesn’t that strike anyone as odd?

  • This video made my apply. They probably won’t hire me because they don’t seem to need any more computer nerds…

  • I wouldn’t want to work there, it would be annoying as hell, people going on like that all the time. How am I supposed to get any work done?

It seemed like the video was continuous shot. That means that either these people are professionals or they tried to make this many times. From the comments people are suggesting that this is a real office and real employees. They must have spent all day shooting this stupid 3 minutes. What was produced? How does this help the bottom line? How does this bring income into the business?

All that said, I found the direction to be very impressive for a one continuous shot.

What was produced? The same thing that is produced by all those office retreats and team building exercises: Everyone learns a bit about their co workers that wouldn’t typically be learned during normal office interactions. Even with ping-pong tables and all that, I doubt that office wide song and dance numbers break out often, but I bet overall it brought everyone in the office a bit closer together.

Is it required to employ at least one black person in US? I’m courious.

    whitest song and whitest company.

  • Come on guys, make a little effort dammit. There are no dark-skinned people visible. What about gays, lesbians, jews, muslims. We also don’t see any clear executive types and there are no janitors or ladies serving coffee. There is also an apparent lack of blue collar workers or clerics present and there seems to be a dearth of military uniforms. Not to mention the physically disabled or the mentally challenged. There are no celebrities, politicians or other criminals in view and only English is spoken. Nobody is carrying a gun and there are no smokers on the premises.

Somebody needs to call Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and the ACLU. The NRA and big tobacco also need to be made aware of this situation.

A non-balanced display of young people having a good time [and not being productive *gasp*] at the office. If this goes on, before long people all over the world might become a bit happier. We must prevent this at all costs!

  • Maybe they all came in on the weekend (their time off) to produce a cheap HR tool to bring in more creative fun employees. Post it online, everyone sees and you don’t have to pay silly television/radio advertising costs.

  • Frances was absolutely correct, this can not go on anymore!

Very nice video. Probably took awhile to get right. Lots of effort went into making it.

  • So counting what they don’t have here from previous posts…

Age diversity, height diversity, class diversity, coolness diversity, and of course race diversity…well I guess they are 0 for 5. :-)

Better add to that list weight diversity…no fatso types

On the positive side their bias towards people who have a sense of humor seems a breath of fresh air…

Me thinks the uglies, fatties, humorless and non-cool types were probably in the other room working.

  • I gotta move up north and find a kick ass job like that. Somebody please HELP ME!!!!

  • Greetings from Lithuania!

    WELL DONE! :)

  • Great Stuff.
The sunlight in the window at 2:09…..Fabulous!!

  • People in comments.. if you don’t know this company, please get a clue. This wasn’t specially “produced”, cost any money, and this wasn’t some one-off to make a crazy video. These guys are doing this sort of thing all the time, go watch the Vimeo channels of several of their staff.. they’re constantly doing stuff like riding heelies around the office, pranking each other (there’s a hilarious “prank war” set of videos between two of the staff, for example), and generally having fun while at work. It’s their lifestyle.. it’s not some cynical scam to make a cute video for geeks to slate.

  • exuberant! and nice song:)

  • 5 thumbs up, working there must be so awesome.
