TechCrunch was barely crawling this evening, due to a double slowdown from two third party apps on the site. Stripped both out, and the site is humming. Fastest load time I’ve ever seen.

Yes, which ones? (Not all of us have photographic memories so that we know what items are now missing from the picture.)
Bummer, sounds like you could use something to track site performance and revisions, with alerts. You’ve had a lot of those 3rd party app slow ups.
Mike, I notice the Swicki is gone. I really like the idea of the Swicki and rolled my own to take some of the cruft out of the process.
